Multi-talented and gifted young author, Caleb Likambi releases his second and third book at the age of twelve, shortly after the success of his debut best-selling book, Tammy and the Shipwreck, which was released earlier this year. The books Rags to Riches and The Dreamer, are the first and second instalments in the “Life Lessons” series by Caleb Likambi.
Rags to Riches tells the inspiring story of Josh, who is determined to move beyond his past and overcome the hardships and difficulties in his life and reach for the stars. While The Dreamer follows the journey of Brayden, who grows up confined in a Circus but is determined to step out of his comfort zone to chase his dreams, when given the opportunity.
Caleb’s debut book, Tammy and the Shipwreck, was written in 2021 and released in early 2022 after being challenged to publish a book by his younger sister (The World’s Youngest Author to Publish Multiple Books within 5 Months, Destiny Likambi). Rags to Riches and The Dreamer are the beginning of a series titled Life Lessons by Caleb Likambi, through which he aims to inspire young people and his peers to work hard, follow their dreams, and never give up in life, irrespective of their background or the circumstances they are faced with in life.
All of the illustrations in Rags to Riches and The Dreamer and are done by Caleb Likambi and revamped by a professional illustrator, and both books are currently available to pre-order and will be officially released on Saturday 16th July.

Coming from a family of talented young writers, Michael Caleb Likambi debuted as an author at the age of 12 with his best-selling book, Tammy and the Shipwreck. He is the 12-year-old gifted and talented brother of the world’s youngest author to publish multiple books within five months, Destiny Likambi, and Liverpool’s best-selling author of three books, Latoya Likambi.
All of the illustrations in The Dreamer are done by Caleb and revamped by a professional illustrator, and the book is set to be the second of his new series, “Life Lessons,” by Caleb Likambi. In May 2022, Caleb and his siblings received a special invitation from The Lord Mayor and First Citizen of Liverpool, Cllr Mary Rasmussen, during which they presented autographed copies of their books to her and received special recognition as the city’s youngest authors, as well as a rare gift of a golden Liver Bird.
Caleb is an ultra-confident and grounded young gentleman, whose kind, compassionate, and humble personality makes him a true friend to many. He always stands up for those who are bullied or ill-treated and is fondly referred to as the “soft giant.”
He is currently the Head Boy of Year 7 at his secondary school and has been on the School Council numerous times throughout his time in primary school. He is also a true and natural sportsman, who has won numerous trophies and awards, both as an individual and for his primary and secondary schools.
Caleb’s genuine passion for reading and learning is second to none, which goes back to his childhood when he would read until he fell asleep. He’s read over 630 books to date and never stops requesting new books. He has been interviewed by diverse media platforms, including BBC Radio Merseyside.
